How can my Golden put on weight?

I have a 11 mnth old Golden retriever, he is just 29 kgs.. and looks thin, though I cant feel his ribs.. he looks thinner than other dogs of his age in my locality.. Can any one tell me what can I give him to make him put on weight? or perhaps increase his hieght..
