New blizzard roars across snow-weary U.S.?

The theories have called for wider temperature swings and heavier snowfall for the midwest. But the winters for the last several years have been mild, indicating that the models are flawed. But now, somehow, when we have a couple of cold snaps and some snow and the models are right - for once - the right wing uses that as proof that the models are wrong. Very bizarre lack of logic.
