How do I help my son who has suffered with SC for the past 29 1/2 yrs?

My son is 291/2 and is becoming very weary with life. My heart hurts with not knowing how to help him. The blood transfusions are not helping with his count staying up. His hips are deteriorating and his pain is unbelievable. I'm just trying to find him someone who has SC to chat with. He does'nt believe anyone understands his plight.
