ADT door to door salesman? scam?

sounds to me like it was an ADT AUTHORIZED DEALER... ask what company they work for. A dealer has the ability to install their own equipment into your home and sign you up for a contract. They then turn around and sell that contract to ADT and thats why they are known as an ADT authorized dealer. Much like Satellite companies etc.. Saves the Corporate department $$$...
