Should space exploration continue to occur at the expense of the environment?

It's a question based on an invalid umption. Space exploration does not damage the environment. Rocket launches do contribute greenhouses gases to the atmosphere but the contribution from space exploration specifically is a very small drop in a very big bucket when compared to human pollution as a whole.
