What do you think about the election?

It seems like the issues are no longer what are important, either way you vote you are against somebody. If you vote for McCain, you are racist because you don't want a black man to be president. If you vote for Obama, you hate the military because Obama never served and you have no respect for McCain's time as a POW during Vietnam. What do you think? I don't believe the above reasons should be the driving force of the election but it seems like those are the big issues instead of war policy, taxes, etc...
