What is the best method(s) to sanitize hot tubs eg. clorine, bromine, copper ions, ozone etc. ?

I would throw about 6 or 7 dishwasher tablets into the tub and turn on the jets for about 30 minutes. It even cleans the jets out without you having to scrub it and kills all that bacteria. Rinse and bathe in sanitary bliss.
